Ladies,
Well, I'm Shayne and this feels a little awkward for me! But, I figured I have a lot of time on my hands, so why not have some pen pals!? I'm on year 8 of my sentence and a lot of my people have forgotten about me or just moved on with their lives. So here I am in prison, with someone reading this page (hopefully) and me eagerly waiting for some mail!

Well, I love writing, anything! I write poetry, songs, and plan on starting a novel sometime. I also do a lot of drawing. I love rap music and some R & B, I play a lot of sports, love football! Most of my life I've played the role of gangster, but overall I'm a mama's boy! I call my mom at least twice a week! Don't laugh! I love my mom!

I'm originally from Calgary, but I was convicted in Vancouver, British Columbia! I was convicted of 1st degree murder of a Vancouver drug lord. I know it sounds bad, but there were circumstances involved. So if anyone is interested in writing to me, please do! I promise I won't bore you! So WRITE ME! Oh, and thank you for reading this!

Lord, I'm at the end of my path of destruction,
my heart feels so empty, yet so heavy and
ready 4 eruption.
I'm surrounded by people, yet I feel so
alone and old.
I'm still young, have people who love me, yet
I'm surrounded by those that are cold.
My thoughts run freely, yet another man is
my keeper.
My body's awake, yet my soul is an eternal sleeper.
I talk 2 you at night, but yet you never
answer my plea!
I've asked your forgiveness, yet I feel like you've
forsaken me.
My eyez are open, but yet I can't see.
I know who I am, yet at times I wonder if it's
really me?
I see your work all around, yet to me it's
never applied.
Can't shed no tearz, but yet many times I've
cried.
I know where I am, yet I'm still lost in confusion.
I know you are there, but yet you could be an
illusion.
I'm struggling Lord, and I'm only scratching
the first layer.
