Prison is a very lonely place and I'm trying to find people willing and caring enough to stand by me during these hard times. The Postman Walks By
Each and every day I wait expectantly for mail.
My wish is seldomly granted, so I wish to no avail.
I write letter after letter reaching out for someone's concern.
I pray for responses but no letters are ever returned.
I may receive a citation or summons from the court
to appear.
Or a letter from my attorney, but where are my loved ones
and do they care?
The ink that pours from my pen is liken unto my soul.
And the paper on which I write addresses so cruel
and cold.
I wonder if I'm forgotten?
Should I cry my last cry?
For it's hard fighting back the tears...
