Hi/Hellos,
Thank you very much respectfully for taking the time away from your busy day as I invite you to take notice of my prison web page. Firstly, my name is Mario Sombra Perez from Southern California. (So. Cal.) The reason for my web page is very important for my mental and social growth and my limited experience with computers. One of my intense desires, goals is to learn computer graphics and designs upon my release. I am a self taught artist. A factually well one as you have seen, with still room for improvement.

Right now I am confined in a Prison Control Unit waiting for shipment back to Pelican Bay or Corcoran (SHU). In these places one spends his time alone in a small bathroom-sized cage with limited access for growth through education. But, I push myself forward by mental strength, my brain stimulation escape is my artwork in my bland world. Some of my work has been published in Prison News Magazines and Prison Work Shop Exhibitions throughout the States and overseas.

My search goes on for some special female friendship. I've been incarcerated over 10 years and am very, very interested in the outside worldly life. Anyone wanting to put a smile where it counts, I'd highly appreciate any race of women pen-pals, 35 years and older, to share stimulating conversation through correspondence. This search high and low through the internet is for all who are sincere and really understanding and respect my life style, someone who is genuine, good-spirited, w/top sense of humor and ambitions in heart/mind.

All artists who enjoy my ad/art are encouraged to write and share ideas, techniques, etc. My artist materials are black ball point pen on paper. I design personal tattoo patterns, any style wanted. I sling ink as well. Photos of your artwork are all welcome. Pictures no bigger than 8 X 10. No polaroids. Thank you.
