If you, .... like myself are looking for a long-term friendship and possibly more then please keep reading. I'm a respectful, considerate and compassionate man who is seeking a woman of similar qualities. I'm ambitious when it comes to providing for myself as well as a family of my own. I have many Business ideas and here are just a few.

Earning my environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification, to test water, air and soil samples for large companies or small businesses. There is good money in this field. I've also considered starting a floor care and facility maintenance company, since I'm already trained in this area and graduated number one in my vocational class for this type of work. Another idea is, purchasing foreclosed, tax delinquent and bankrupt properties. Purchasing them for pennies on the dollar. Then doing all the maintenance and repairs myself to keep the over head costs down. Then I have the option of renting or selling the properties. Once released I want to settle down and hope to raise a family and will possibly relocate for that special person. Have never been married and have no children.

If you have a serious outlook on life and know what you want out of a relationship and what needs to go into one to make it last, then me and you already have similar insights. I've been let down and my heart broken after I faithfully committed myself 100% to a 5 year relationship only to find out she wanted to marry her career instead of me. So please know what you want and are looking for in a relationship before you write me. My heart was broken once and that is enough for me.

Any how age, race and all that judgement stuff does not apply to me. I'll respond to all who write and just because you're a single mother don't hesitate to write. Because like I've said, I want to settle down and raise a family and I'm not scared to step up to the plate.

Painted Clown Tears
Oh! What brightly colored funny faces clowns have,
with their big red noses, ballooned pants and funny ways.

But do clowns really cry and laugh,
underneath their painted faces of smiles and tears?
And do they have feelings like you and I?

At times I feel I'm a clown,
but without a painted face.
Maybe it's the way people for no reason,
laugh and make fun of me, as if I were a clown.

When I look in the mirror I don't see what people
find funny. What I do see is a real person
with real tears and not painted ones, falling from his eyes.

I guess it's true then, clowns do have feelings, even
the ones who don't wear a funny, painted face.

The next time you see one of these so called clowns
people make fun of.
Don't laugh and make fun of him,
because my tears are real and not painted,
and fall when no one's around.
