I'm a 27 year old death row inmate who has been incarcerated since the age of 19. I'm writing because I'm desperately seeking someone to correspond with. I know that may be asking a lot for some being as I carry this label of a condemned man, but besides the label I'm a human being.

I enjoy reading books about history and books that challenge us to be ourselves. I'm also a big fan of reality tv shows. "Yeah" I too watch Flavor of Love. I also write lyrics and poetry. I'm open-minded to learning new things and sharing ideas. Anybody who's interested I'm waiting to hear from you, but before I go I would like to share this. It's called "A Day Through My Eyes".

View through my eyes how a day is.
Confined 22 hours, maybe a shower,
If it's cold, a runny nose.
Mice infested, a guard suggested,
To end it here.
Through a window, I use my pencil,
To draw the sun.
Partly clouded, the food is lousy,
And not really done.
Lost weight, lost faith,
But these push ups keep me in shape.
It's hard to let go your past.
Reminiscence of times when you kick it.
Now instead of your name, it's replaced by digits.
Shoulder to shoulder, handcuffs to feet,
Take a chance and get to know me!
